In  May of 2003, I stopped by the Hudson Valley School of Advanced Aesthetic Skin Care to pick up some information about the program. I asked when the next class was starting. They told me the following Monday, so I enrolled right then and there. I picked up a smock on my way home. When I arrived home, I told my husband, Gary, that I had just enrolled and I would be attending school for the next 14 months, three nights a week. I absolutely loved it, so much so that I had gone back to work at the HVAASC as an instructor. I taught part-time from the Fall of 2006 until August 2010.

     Facial Perfection was created for me by my husband.  He converted a portion of the first floor of our home into an Egyptian/Roman Themed Skin Care Center.  I have been doing facial skin care and body treatments at Facial Perfection since  August 2004. Facial Perfection is located at 154 Schryver Street in the village of Port Ewen, NY, in the Heart of the Hudson Valley.

     After I received my license in New York, I then received my license as a Facial Specialist in the state of Florida. My sister lives in Leesburg, Fl at Mid-Florida Lakes. When I’ve gone to Florida to visit, they allowed me to do facials for the residents of the Mid-Florida Lake community.

     My experience also included working as a Medical Aesthetician at Absolute Laser in Rhinebeck performing Foto Facials, IPL  Hair removal, Chemical Peels, Diamondtome Microdermabrasion and Facials using products Biomedics by LaRoche-Possay.

     I have also received product training certifications from Sothys, Image Skin Care and Eminence. 

     Over the past 10 years, I’ve performed hundreds of european and specialized facials, Microdermabrasions with both crystals and diamond tipped wands, Chemical peels (glycolic, lactic, kojic, salicylic & Jessner), waxing, IPL(Intense Pulsed Light) treatments.
